At Hixtra our small but perfectly formed in-house laboratory is equipped to provide comprehensive geotechnical soil testing services.
The types of tests we regularly undertake include routine classification tests such as water content, plasticity, particle size and particle density. Compaction and strength tests include lab CBR, Triaxial for undrained shear strength, MCV and maximum dry density tests.
Our laboratory team is led by staff with over 35 years direct testing experience and a clear benefit of our smaller scale is that we have a keen interest in your project and have industry leading turnaround times.
Hixtra is also a member of the Association of Geotechnical and Geo Environmental Specialists (AGS).
Supporting our laboratory we have several field technician teams who can undertake geotechnical testing on-site.
